On the road - Australian Style Country Pub

The long bull-nose topped verandas beckon
Views looking over the river banks
Beckoning hot thirsty travellers or passers by
enticing all to come inside! 
Love a good ol’ Aussie Pub!

This picture was taken whilst on one of the many road trips I have taken recently - every country town has at least 3 pubs - the architecture and style within hasn't changed throughout the decades are many have maintained the beautiful features from when they were buillt in the late 1800s or early 1900's.

Patterns of the Week

Happy Birthday

to my beautiful Nanna My

You would be celebrating 100 years today

if you were still alive.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.  xx

It's been 10 years since my beautiful Nanna My passed - I miss her terribly.  She was so ahead of her times - an amazing lady who brought her daughter up on her own in an era when you didn't do that.  She had a tough life, could be difficult but was an inspiration - her drive and determination showed me that anyone can achieve the unachievable.
