Sunday Drive - Noosa

“My soul is full of longing for the secrets of the sea, and the heart of the great ocean sends a thrilling pulse through me.” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

With the advent of spring and the beautiful warm weather that has returned, it was fabulous to get up early and go for a drive to Noosa.  I accompanied a friend to visit this small busy spot approximately two hours north of Brisbane (home).

Noosa is a bustling beach suburb where many from all walks of life come to play and relax.  In the height of summer it is jam packed with tourists and visitors.  We arrived early to enjoy a lovely breakfast in one of the many cafes and wandering through the many beach side shops.  The highlight of the trip was to walk along the boardwalk and sit in the sun enjoying the water and beach views.

My soul is now revived for the week ahead.

  4. This would have to be my second favourite spot - my other is Jervis Bay. However, Noosa is where I'd like to live one day!
