Welcome to the Annual Music Challenge and Blog Hop. This is the third year of the challenge but
the first for me as a participant. The
wonderful Erin from Treasures found has organized this challenge to highlight
the effects of music for those with Alzheimer’s and create awareness of the
organisation Music &Memories. This challenge was one I
eagerly participated in as Alzheimer’s and Dementia affects every family in
some way – if not now, potentially in the future.
Basically the challenge focuses on a life changing event – the year that occurred and a song from that year that signifies the event. graying tower alone on the sea.
You became the light on the dark side of me.
You became the light on the dark side of me.
and the closing lyrics …

A light hits the gloom on the gray.
Over the years as my children have grown and developed into
young adults – they have lit my way and taught me so much about life. They have had an amazing amount of challenges
to face throughout their young lives and their aptitude and attitude embracing
these challenges makes me so proud.
My cuff reflects the rose that blooms within everyone - now I can wear my rose on my wrist and be reminded when things are grey that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
So this is for my children, I love you. x
